Purpose

Standard procedure for creating, editing, and publishing blog posts.

Creating a New Blog Post

Step 1: Access Blog Module

Navigate to CMS > Blog > Create New +.

Step 2: Fill in Post Details

Title: Compelling headline.

Slug: Auto-generated (SEO friendly).

Content: Write full article.

SEO Pre-flight Checklist

Before hitting publish, verify:

[ ] Title Tag: Is it under 60 characters?

[ ] Meta Description: Is it under 160 chars and compelling?

[ ] URL Slug: Is it clean? (e.g., best-cms-guide vs post-123).

[ ] Headings: Is there only ONE h1 tag? Are H2/H3s nested correctly?

[ ] Images: Do all images have Alt Text?

Author Management

By default, the logged-in user is the author.

Change Author: Admins can select a different user as the author from the "Settings" sidebar in the editor.

Guest Authors: Create a "Guest" user account if you need to attribute external writers.

Publishing Workflow

Save as Draft while working.

Publish when ready.
