Connecting Third-Party Apps

Overview

The Apps & Plugins system allows you to connect external platforms (like Shopify, WooCommerce, and WordPress) directly to your CMS. This enables a "Headless" content strategy where you manage all content in Ledger1CMS and push it to your various storefronts and sites.

How to Connect an App

Navigate to Apps Store

Go to CMS > System > Apps & Plugins.

You will see a list of available integrations divided into categories (E-Commerce, Publishing, Utility).

Select a Provider

Shopify: Click "Connect". You will be asked for your store URL (e.g., mystore.myshopify.com). You will then be redirected to Shopify to approve the connection.

WooCommerce: Click "Connect". You will need to provide your Store URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret. (See below for how to generate these).

Verification

Once connected, the status indicator on the app card will turn Green (Connected).
